This is a competence-based qualification assessed through real-world evidence from your current role. You must be employed as a construction site manager to enrol — we operate an experienced worker route only.
Your assessor gathers evidence through your existing project documentation, professional discussions (recorded), and a knowledge workbook. Everything is managed through our online e-portfolio system.
Assessment is conducted in line with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy and internally verified by an experienced, qualified assessor.

The Level 6 NVQ is for experienced construction site managers managing complex projects and teams.
Candidates should be employed as construction site managers in one of the following sectors: Building & Civil Engineering, Highways Maintenance, Residential Development, Conservation, or Demolition.
